Cosplay Suggestions? :3

Hello!


A new year is coming up and I'm revving up to get started on all of my cosplay plans! The only thing is...I only have 3 planned for this year and I'd really like to do more or at least have ideas floating around.


Right now my planned cosplays for this year are:
Psylocke (Default [done] and Utopia)
Elektra (Kotobukiya style)
Tinkerballa (This one is a possibility and not definite)


Cheshire is also a possibility.

DID I MENTION I'M GOING TO 4 CONS?! That's definitely not enough for 4 different cons...especially since 2 of them cater more towards comics. lulz

AS YOU CAN SEE, I don't have that many plans. :/ For a few years I've been wanting to start cosplaying more comic/game characters so now I'm finally starting. I'm open to any ideas though.
(If it involves a black catsuit, since I want to wear my catsuit to death, even better!)

Villian, hero, wizard, cat....I'm open to suggestions! I know there has to be tons of characters that I've completely forgotten. (I had a list and my computer crashed 2 weeks ago..yay T___T)

So....
This past year...I haven't been very active. There's a reason. I haven't really gone to any cons. I believe..I've only been toooo...1. And that was metrocon. Sad really.

BUT! It's changing this year!
I'll be going to
MEGACON
METROCON
ANDDDD



DRAGONCON! 8D
YAYEEEEE!

Megacon will just be a fun con to walk around at and stuff (I'll hopefully be debuting Psylocke, Elektra and possibly Poison Ivy? ;)

Metrocon will be the very first con that I'll be manning an Artist Alley table!
I can't wait to show you guys the awesome things that we'll be doing for artist alley! I'll also be opening up an Etsy shop with my bf where you'll be able to find our stuff without going to a con! :3
I'm not exactly sure what I'll be wearing..probably some simple stuff so I can focus on AA. :D

AND DRAGONCON
I'll be bringing along Psylocke, Poison Ivy (maybe elektra if I actually get her done) and hopefully I'll be debuting a Tinkerballa cosplay!

Lolita and Cosplay Modeling

So if you guys haven't noticed (since I'm not uploading them on here, haha) I've been doing a lot of Lolita modeling lately for elegyclothing.com/ with :iconkendra-paige: as photographer.


I've been doing a lot of more colorful work actually, which I love. Kendra has some awesome pictures posted so be sure to check her page out for more pictures (of me :P).

I'll also be gearing up to post even more pictures of stuff.
The photographer pond in my area seems to be drying up a bit as I feel like I'm running out of people to collaborate with that have quality work...perhaps I'll have to expand more into Orlando~ Who knows~

Going back to cosplay would also make my heart happy. I definitely don't think that I've been doing as many cosplay shoots as I would like and I have tons of costumes that don't have pictures yet. :/ Maybe that will change if I can find someone in the area who's interested in cosplay. LIFE IN JAX IS SO HARDDD. xD

I'm done. This is just me rambling.

Coming up on Juneeee which is the "start" of my con season.

By con season I mean like...2 cons throughout the year. haha
I was hoping to have a few new cosplays to debut but that doesn't look like it'll be happening~

I have Chinglish (Shenhua/ Black Lagoon) getting made by a friend since I thought Id be making 3 other cosplays but as it turns out, most of them kinda fell through. haha

I had planned Kimono! Asuka but my partner has ventured off to..fanime? xDD and we wanted to match fabrics so, that'll probably be done later on.

I was going to do Psylocke (normal and...utopia?) but the catsuit I received was uglyyyyyyy. xD It would definitely work for black widow since her belt would cover up this nasty seam above the hips but it definitely wouldn't work for a plain catsuit. I'm thinking of going with latex or Vinyl. I'm leaning towards vinyl just to save a couple of bucks and since I'm not super familiar with latex I wouldn't want to go through the hassle of putting on a catsuit which I've heard are pain in the buttsssss. Her normal outfit is currently waiting my attention and a new zipper. T.T lol

I also have my sailor mars cosplay coming along~

SO. I will be bringing Chinglish (If it's done by then. Getting it silk screened...)
Sailor Mars and...my waitress stocking which I haven't worn a lot...
Those are my tentative plans for ze metrocon-o.

Busy week was busy :3

Just wrapped up the last of my shoots with the AMAZING :iconkendra-paige:

The shoots started late afternoon on sunday and ended this thursday morning!
We did TONS of looks throughout those days~ Lets see...8 looks I think in total!

Keep a look out for some AMAZING pictures on her page and possibly mine? OHOHOHOHO.

Just a little list of the looks we did to get a gist of the shots to come!

It started out with some casual head shot pictures since I needed some "natural" ones in my port~
The next day, we hit the ground running with two casual outfits (1 not so casual LOL), then a color play look and finally, a tribal look~

Here's some snap shots I took of the looks to give a sneak peek of what to expect~





The next day, we did a super awesome shoot! No sneak peeks of this one even though I took tons! I'm so excited to see the final images for this shoot~

We then did an elf shoot and a snow white shoot



andddddd, ended with a second shoot of the secret one~

For all of the shoots, I did the styling,make-up and modeling except for the huntsman/prince in the snow white shoot and the secret shoot where the super sweet :iconmisschubi: supplied the outfit and accessories!


YEAHHHHH!
